about

We tried to steal a page from Switchfoot's playbook and record Brooks screaming into a guitar pickup for the bridge of this song. Everyone in the band loved it. Our friends, not so much. It was the first (and so far the only) time my music was compared to the sound of a dying cat.

lyrics

Meet me where the road divides
I won't let you leave alone
Even though we'll say goodbye
I know this road will lead you home

I see all that we've been through
From miles away
From rocket ships to Saturdays in my basement
I'll miss you every single day

Meet me where the road divides
I won't let you leave alone
Even though we'll say goodbye
I know this road will lead you home

On that last August night at Whitney's
That's when it hit me
You were gone
So long
Then I realized why she cried

Meet me where the road divides
I won't let you leave alone
Even though we'll say goodbye
I know this road will lead you home
